Monday night. Overnight stop in the bush deep in the former diamond-mining district. What was once a lovely bungalow is now a ghost-house in a ghosttown; not even running water and the nearest food approx 20 miles away. Very strange noises outside in the dark and a lizard living in the defunct air-conditioner. Good signal on the mobile phone though!
